Tal-Bidwi Park

The Tal-Bidwi Park is the result of a substantial investment made by the Ta’ Sannat Local Council in the last few years.  In 2011 the local council obtained funds from the EU’s Rural Development Policy Funds to build this park. Works started in 2012 and the recreational park was inaugurated by Mayor Philip Vella on 3rd March 2013.

Regeneration
of the Area

The park was built on a site that was previously dilapidated and works included the embellishment of the area, the planting of a large number of indigenous trees and shrubs, and the building of traditional rubble walls and foot paths. The area also includes a picnic area as well as a play area where children can play in a safe environment and amongst the trees.
